Keeping Tenants Happy

SmartEgg prides itself on being a hands-on property management company with personable service so our clients and tenants feel heard and cared for. Now that our busy leasing season is (mostly) over, our primary goal is to provide top-notch service that keeps our tenants happy. If you’re a property owner, you should know that cared-for tenants are happier tenants, and happier tenants are more likely to renew their lease!

If a tenant notifies us of repairs or enhancements they would like, we will consider every possibility. While property owners may sometimes baulk at expenses, keeping a tenant for years is much more cost-effective than having to replace them each year. We are always mindful of your costs and investment, but also encourage you to keep an open mind about small expenses that make a big difference to tenants. Another benefit of happy tenants is that they are much more likely to take care of your home, which itself leads to fewer expenses over time. SmartEgg is keeping the long game in mind, not just the short-term view.

Maintenance requests are always a high priority for tenants. Last year we started sending out surveys after repairs were completed so we can stay on top of one of the most important qualities that tenants look for in a property management company. We also want to check to make sure our repair vendors are doing a great job. We can proudly say we have a 90% satisfaction rate and 100% of repairs were done professionally and kindly. That said, our goal is a 100% satisfaction rate so we continue to work on improving our communication and response times.

Psst, tenants: If you’ve had a recent maintenance request fulfilled, keep an eye out for an email from us! We really would appreciate it if you would fill out the quick survey. Want to fill out the survey now? Here’s the link!
