**2. Use a Plunger:**

- **Select the Right Plunger**: Use a flange plunger, which is more effective for toilets.
- **Position the Plunger**: Place it over the drain hole, ensuring a good seal.
- **Pump Up and Down**: Push down and pull up rapidly to create suction. Repeat this several times before checking if the clog clears.

**3. Add Hot Water:**

- If plunging doesn’t work, try pouring hot (not boiling) water into the bowl from waist height. This can help dissolve or loosen the clog.
